The most important
decision one can ever make in life is to receive
Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is amazing that
something so vital to your future is so simple to
do. You should begin by realizing that God loves you.
John 3:16 says,
"God
loved the people of this world so much that he gave
his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him
will have eternal life and never really die."
It’s just as plain as that! God really loves us!
He loved us first before we ever thought about
loving him. I know that being loved is a difficult
concept for some of you. I understand that perhaps
many of you have never felt loved before. You know
what it’s like to be hurt, misused and abused, but
true love is a foreign concept to you.
Well, particularly for those individuals, I want to
tell you that it’s true! God really does love you.
And he won’t ever hurt you and he will stay when
others leave you. He loves you so much that he sent
his only Son Jesus to die on a cruel cross so that
you wouldn’t have to. And it is through believing in
his Son, even by believing on his name that we are
saved and have eternal life. God did not send his
Son into the world to condemn the world but that the
world might be saved through him.
I
want you to know that it was not something
carelessly thrown together, but it was a carefully
orchestrated plan of God to save you and bring you
back into right fellowship with himself through
Jesus, the Christ. God knew you and what you would
become. He has a plan for your life.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, "I
will bless you with a future filled with hope--a
future of success, not of suffering. You will turn
back to me and ask for help, and I will answer your
prayers. You will worship me with all your heart,
and I will be with you...”
It
is your destiny to be a child of God. It is your
destiny to be
blessed and to
prosper. Won’t you open the door to your heart right
now? Jesus is waiting and saying to you, “Listen!
I am standing and knocking at your door. If you hear
my voice and open the door, I will come in and we
will eat together…” Rev 3:20.
Jesus wants to abide at your house. Paul teaches us
the way of salvation in
Romans
10:9-10, “So
you will be saved, if you honestly say, 'Jesus is
Lord,' and if you believe with all your heart that
God raised him from death. God will accept you and
save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to
others.”
Won’t you be saved today? Pray with
me right now.
Lord, thank you
for this opportunity. Thank you for allowing me to
hear your voice and thank you for the spirit of
obedience. I confess now with my mouth that Jesus is
Lord. Right now, I make him Lord of my life! And I
truly believe with all my heart that you, Father
God, have raised him from death. Thank you, Father,
for saving me and making me joint-heir to the
kingdom through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Did you pray that prayer
out loud with me today? That’s great! Now let me
hear from you.
Write me
and say, Pastor Ron, I prayed the prayer. I’m Saved!
Saved! Saved!
